Description of Services: The process of change and growth is initiated through active participation in a recovering community. The therapeutic community approach utilizes the bio-psycho-social and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy models of treatment as well as group therapy approach. Chemical dependency programs operate in an open-cycle and run for 21-28 days.
Requirements
Age: 17 years and older
Application: Accepting referrals from the following sources: self-referrals, family, physicians, community service providers, Employee and Family Assistance Programs and Withdrawal Management. Book an appointment by phone with Intake or refer to an assessment and referral organization. The admission process consists of initial contact, screening, and a telephone intake assessment. The GAIN Q3 MI ON is preferred (not required) to determine the appropriate level of care. Individuals should be stabilized on medication and have physical and psychological health adequate for participation in the program. Additional medical information may be requested before admission. Medical information may also be reviewed with a medical consultant. Individuals must be capable of caring for their own needs. Individuals may arrange to go to withdrawal management for five days before admission to the residential program, in consultation with the Intake worker.

Management and operational support is available Monday to Friday from 0800-1600. Clinical staff is on call after hours. Program workers are available 24/7.
