Program: Mobile Crisis Response Team
Organization: Canadian Mental Health Association North Bay And District
Description of Services: In partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police, a crisis response team consisting of a nurse or social worker and a police officer respond to mental health and substance use-related calls. The goal is to divert the crisis and alleviate access to emergency services to relieve systemic pressure.
Requirements
Age: All
Application: The response is available to anyone within the OPP catchment area. All referrals come through calls to police dispatch or by calling 911.
