Program: Live In Aftercare
Organization: Gwekwaadziwin Miikan Mental Health And Addictions
Description of Services: This program provides two homes with varying degrees of support for individuals who have completed a treatment program in the past 6 months. Individuals in this program will benefit from a safe, supported environment where they can practise recovery strategies learned during treatment. Geared to Indigenous applicants but open to all Ontario residents as long as they are open to Indigenous programming. Residents will take part in daily circles and must be working, going to school or taking part in volunteer opportunities while in this phase of the program.
Requirements
Fees: Yes, Individuals in this program are required to pay a geared to income program fee, and be responsible for all of there own groceries, transportation, personal care costs
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Indigenous Peoples (Canada) Only ; Inuit Only ; Metis Only ; First Nations Only
Age: 19 years and older
Application: Referrals are accepted from those who have completed a residential treatment program either through this organization or at another organization.
