Description of Services: Supportive beds are intended to prevent those experiencing a mental health and/or substance use-related crisis from unnecessary involvement with the criminal justice system and/or hospitalization. Staff can provide mental health assessments, short-term support, advocacy, referrals to community services, and education. Inclusionary Criteria: Voluntarily participation; not suited for hospitalization, arrest and/or detention; low risk of harm to self/others; not impaired by substances; independent for activity of daily living and mobility

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Clients with Legal Issues Only ; Concurrent Disorders Only
Age: 16 years and older
Application: Referrals accepted from: hospital emergency departments, community organizations, physicians, criminal justice system, self, family and friends.
