Description of Services: Structured treatment program; using harm-reduction model, Trauma-informed, emphasizing cultural and land-based teachings as a means to addressing substance use issues. 24-hour support is provided.
Requirements
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: First Nations Only ; Indigenous Peoples (Canada) Only
Age: 18 years and older
Application: Self-referrals are accepted, call to request a copy of the Healing Journey referral package. Referrals from Metis and Inuit people are welcomed. All individuals applying for treatment must be detoxified and free from withdrawal symptoms for at least seven days before intake.
