Description of Services: Provides a 20 bed shelter that provides a safe and supportive environment for women 16 years of age and older and their children fleeing abuse * services offered:
  • free, safe shelter that is non-judgmental and supportive for a period up to 6 weeks
  • crisis and support counselling for both resident and non-resident women
  • telephone counselling
  • community referrals and information
  • advocacy with community agencies
  • accompaniments
  • emergency transportation specific to getting you to safety
  • support for the children involved, including non-therapeutic counselling
  • safety planning
  • education
