| Description of Services: | The sexual abuse counselling and treatment program provides confidential, trauma-informed counselling and support services to individuals impacted by sexual abuse, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, and sexual violence. This program recognizes that sexual violence disproportionately affects women, children, Indigenous Peoples, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, persons with disabilities, and marginalized populations. Services aim to: • Promote healing and recovery • Enhance safety and stabilization • Reduce symptoms of trauma • Increase coping skills and resilience • Support empowerment and self-determination • Facilitate access to community resources | ||
